Welcome to Beyond the Bench ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Beyond the Bench website and any consulting, coaching, training, workshops, assessments, or related professional services we provide.

By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our website or services.

1. Services

Beyond the Bench provides leadership development, organizational consulting, emotional intelligence (EQ) training, executive coaching, team development, workshops, assessments, and related professional services.

All services are tailored to the needs of each client. Specific deliverables, timelines, pricing, and project scope will be outlined in a separate proposal, agreement, or statement of work.

2. Educational Purposes

Our services are intended for educational and professional development purposes. While our programs are designed to strengthen leadership, communication, emotional intelligence, collaboration, and workplace performance, we do not guarantee specific personal, organizational, or business outcomes.

Our services are not intended to replace legal, medical, psychological, financial, or mental health advice.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and timely information needed to perform the agreed-upon services.

  • Participate in coaching sessions, workshops, and assessments in good faith.

  • Ensure attendees are prepared for scheduled training sessions.

  • Respect the confidentiality and intellectual property of all materials provided.

Delays resulting from incomplete information, postponed approvals, scheduling conflicts, or lack of participation may impact project timelines and deliverables.

4. Scheduling & Cancellations

Consulting sessions, coaching appointments, workshops, and training engagements are scheduled by mutual agreement.

Cancellation or rescheduling requests should be made with reasonable advance notice. Beyond the Bench reserves the right to charge cancellation or rescheduling fees for late cancellations or missed appointments, as outlined in the applicable service agreement.

If we must reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, we will make every reasonable effort to arrange a new mutually agreeable date.

5. Payment Terms

Fees, payment schedules, and invoicing terms are outlined in each client's proposal or agreement.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Invoices are due according to the payment terms provided.

  • Late payments may result in delayed or suspended services.

  • Clients remain responsible for payment of services already performed.

  • Any additional work requested outside the agreed scope may require a separate proposal or change order.

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all training materials, presentations, workbooks, exercises, methodologies, frameworks, graphics, templates, worksheets, website content, and other materials created by Beyond the Bench remain our intellectual property.

Clients are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use materials internally within their organization for educational purposes only. 7. Emotional Intelligence Assessments

Certain services may include the use of the EQ-i 2.0® and EQ 360® emotional intelligence assessments, which are proprietary assessment tools published by Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS) and administered by certified practitioners.

These assessments are intended solely for leadership development, coaching, professional growth, and self-awareness. They are not psychological evaluations, mental health assessments, or diagnostic tools and should not be interpreted as medical, psychological, or clinical advice.

Assessment results are confidential and will generally be shared only with the individual participant unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by law. For organizational engagements, aggregate or anonymized reporting may be provided where appropriate and consistent with participant consent and the applicable service agreement.

Participants are responsible for completing assessments honestly and to the best of their ability. Beyond the Bench is not responsible for decisions made by individuals or organizations based solely on assessment results.
